Immigration Interview Reflection

This project took a long time because I had to think about all of the questions and who I wanted to interview.  Then I had to change the order of the questions. 

I came up with the questions by thinking about my mother and her experience moving to New York from Spain. I used the list of possible questions that Mrs. Cooper gave us to come up with ideas. I interviewed my mother at home. It went as expected. I learned that it can be hard to type the answers while they are talking. I didn’t have to record because my mother stopped talking to give me time to type. THe most interesting thing I learned about my mother is the AMerican food she prefers. I didn’t know she liked chili so much.As you can see I work really hard to finish my interview. It took a lot of time but I finished

 

Feature Article

Have you ever written an article? Is not easy. You have to find pictures, vocabulary, an introduction , conclusion and so many things. So if you never didier you are going to see how I did.

My topic was hockey. For me it wasn’t really hard because my favorite sport is hockey. That’s why it was easy. I chose hockey because it is my favorite sport and I know a lot about it. I enjoyed looking for the images and researching websites for more information. The most challenging thing was coming up with subtopic ideas. I chose good photos and made a good introduction and conclusion.I’m most proud of all the writing and the ideas I came whith This is much harder because I had to come out with ideas, pictures and so many more things.
