As I research and work on this project I have learned a few things about myself.
Learner
I have learned that I like to learn, but about stuff I’m interested in. I’ve learned that learning about topics that are interesting to me help me want to keep learning.
Reader/writer
I don’t usually read nonfiction, but I have done other nonfiction research projects in past grades. For me the hardest part about reading nonfiction is hard words. Specifically when I’m researching the history of Scarsdale I have come across fancy words that I’ll have to look up to see what they mean and how I can use a different word that I understand. I have learned that I like to write, but not as much informational essays and notes. I personally am someone who prefer to read fiction and write stories, experiences, etc.
Time Manager
I have learned that I have gotten better at time managing over time, but I still procrastinate sometimes. I have learned that I shouldn’t procrastinate because when I actually go to do the work, I have so much collected over time. I feel like I would manage how many notes I take a day etc. better if we were at school.
I feel like you are a great time manager. I also thought that you would read nonfiction books a lot. I like nonfiction book, but i like fiction book more. It’s probably because I read more fiction books than nonfiction books.
About being a learner, i think I like learning new things that I’m interested in. We have a lot in common.
