How do I feel about being at home in complete shut down? I feel bored, I feel lazy, I feel bad, and I am mad. If are country didn’t act quicker we wouldn’t have to do this. People need to stay at home and keep others safe. People say its the same for everyone but it’s not. There are people who can’t go buy food every week to stay healthy. Nurses and doctors are working so hard to keep us safe but they get sick. They are re using the same masks and gloves which isn’t healthy. I have a summer I’m looking forward to and I don’t want that to be taken away.

As I walked around my house and looked for the materials mrs. Giroux listed on Schoology I founded many of the outdoor and indoor things. I found every single material in the outdoor list. However in the indoor list I didn’t find cardboard, craft sticks, and rubber bands. I didn’t find three of them but the rest I found.

While I have been stuck in quarantine I have been doing many things. I play outside every day on my trampoline or with my little brother. I also read books and sometimes the sports sections of newspapers. Every day I play on my xbox. On my xbox I have two games called Madden 20 and 2k20. I am making my own team in madden and I am building a career in 2k20. I have been sleeping 9-12 twelves hour a day and it feels really good. The main reason I sleep for a long time is because I really like sleeping and becausem= most of my day is boring because we are stuck at home.

In tech, yesterday Ms. Giroux taught us and let us shave wood. We used a hand planner to shave the wood. The shaved wood came out in curls and balls of wood onto the floor and table. On the hand planner there is a little sharp edge on the bottom that shaves the wood. We used the vice to hold the wood so we can shave the piece of wood. The day before that we got to design something in tinkercad. I designed a word that said skate. I was planning to have that 3D printed and put it in my room but I didn’t need it. We also started a box project and I designed a cube shaped box. That’s what we did this week.

Yesterday, in tech with Ms. Giroux we got to practice screwing screws into thick pieces of wood using a screwdriver. It took me a long time to get a screw through my piece of wood. Later, Ms. Giroux helped me and taught me a few things. She helped me use a vice the way its supposed to be used. She helped me make a starter hole in the piece of wood too. After she taught me a few fundamentals I got my first screw through. I used a big long blue screwdriver and a small screw. The screw fit perfectly in the starter hole I made. After I got my first screw through I felt proud and happy.

Your team is the only good scarsdale soccer team says other kids in my grade. My soccer team finished off our fall season with a league record of 6 wins and 1 loss. The soccer team includes Lachlan Isaacs (me), Jake Sussberg, Blake Feinberg, Miles Newman, Shady Saleh, Yusuke Sato, Ryan Gilligan, Felipe, and 5th graders Jake Raab, Andrew, and Matisse. The captains are Miles Newman and me. We qualified into the elimination rounds in the state cup. 3 of our games got cancelled so we are playing them in spring. That is my soccer team.
