Clinometer and Trundle Wheel

A clinometer is a tool that lets you measure the angle of an object. A trundle wheel is a tool that lets you see what a meter is. Today we measured the angle of our flag pole. We used our trundle wheel to measure fifteen meters and that is where we measured it from. Then we used our clinometer to measure the angle. Their are three types of clinometers. The one we used is the one where you look through the whole and pull the trigger when its on an object. Our group got and average 42 degrees. We also tried it with a moving object. With the ball we didn’t have close results. One reason is it didn’t go the same height and it was hard to get it right at the top. We started to learn how to use these because this is how we will measure our rocket to see how high it will go.
