For each fantasy book we read we have to right an analytical paragraph about the book. It is basically an essay except it is just the body paragraph. It is easier and harder at the same time. It is easier because it is just 1 paragraph. But because it is just 1 paragraph it compels us to make it the absolute best we can. I think our teacher knew this when he assigned this project. I have been finding themes pretty hard because I like my book so much. This causes me to just listen and enjoy the book and not think about themes. I can usually think of themes but they usually don’t have enough evidence to construct a good paragraph. If I come up with a good theme I think that I can usually construct it into a good paragraph. I think I am also good with my word choices, most of the time. Overall I think I like the “new” format.
