1 week ago we read the book Wonder. August went to school and when Julian was there he was bullying August in a sneaky way. August was upset inside but on the outside August was like sticks vs a cement wall.
Research project
in my reading, we have been studying how to research.
Information to help us in are animal comic book / information book. We used books that we organized easiest to hardest. Are subtopics where Habitat,snakes body,predators and prey. We organized are research by putting it in the matching subtopics. The most important thing I learned of the research process is that some informational pictures can be fake. My animal I researched is a snake.
After this project, I took everything that I learned about research and used in my country research project.
The Shortstop Who Knew To Much
The book I recommend is The Shortstop Who Knew Too Much by Dan Gutman
Jake, his mom and his dad live in a small town and Jake loves to play baseball. Their pitcher was warming up and it’s Jake’s best friend, Whip Wither spoon. When Jake stepped on home plate, his friend pitched and hit Jake by accident. After Jake got hit something strange happened to him. He felt he had a special power. When he focused on people he could read their mind. It was their last game. The pitcher threw the ball. Will he use his magic powers to hit a home run or will he get hit again? I think this book is really interesting and it gives you a message about friendship.
