On Friday October thirteenth, traditionally an unlucky day, Mrs. Cooper’s class had a visitor. It was the principle of the school holding the estimation jar. This was a jar of many mini erasers and each class had to guess how many there are. The children counted ninety on the bottom and fifteen layers. They only had a minute left, and as Mrs. Cooper rushed to do ninety times fifteen she gets one thousand four hundred fifty. As its only 1 minute before they announce the winner Naomi’s hand went up and she said “Mrs. Cooper YOUR MATH IS WRONG!!! The right answer for the problem was one thousand three hundred fifty.” As they joking around saying what if that was the answer the loud speaker says ”for the ESTIMATION JAR THERE WERE ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED … FORTY.” the whole class screamed “OMG” they would have been the closest but the teacher ms cooper did the math wrong. Carlie Kaufman from class 5C said she was disappointed but some of the kids were a little mad. Will class 5C ever forgive her teacher?
