Overall

The Lima Beans look different because of the conditions they are in, they aren’t in normal condition, something is different about all of them because they are in different conditions no air, sunlight, no sunlight.

 

Sunlight

The sunlight is doing fine without soil. The sunlight  is not developing as fast as the no air but I think it looks healthier than the no air. I noticed that the lima beans have roots coming out of the bottom and coming out the bottom of the root are root hairs.

 

No Air

The plant is doing well without soil but I don’t  think that it will keep doing well. You know how I was talking about they look different well the no air looks different because it looks amazing there are leaves coming out the top! The embryo must be what is causing the plant to have leaves coming out the top.

 

No Sunlight

The no sunlight is doing absolutely horrible it is all yellow and smells like old gym socks. And I think it would do better with soil. Because sunlight gives a plant nutrients so the soil would substitute for the nutrients because soil has minerals that give the plant nutrients. The plant needs sunlight because it the leaf absorbs it with carbon dioxide, and water. These create glucose which is the plants nutrients and or food. The plant looks different from the others because it looks so unhealthy they are really yellow.
