Something that I noticed was that back then it took a very long time to be able to fully produce the final product of the wood. They needed a lot of manpower and it was dangerous. Now people have machines and chainsaws. This makes it easier and overall quicker. One disadvantage is now we dont need as many people working because we have machines but back then they needed people which gave jobs to people.
