Philadelphia Trip
Hello and Welcome to Rocio’s World. Today we’re going to talk about the Philadelphia trip.
We went to Philadelphia on November 9th. All of the fifth graders had to be at school by 5:45am. The buses left at 6. The buses were coach buses. Everyone was aloud to bring an electronic, if they wanted to. I brought my phone. You were also aloud to bring something else, to entertain yourself. I brought a little bag with landyard, a book, a phone charger, and earbuds. I also brought snacks.
When I was on the bus didn’t sit next to anyone. I sat across from Nicole and Izzy. When I was on the bus I talked to them. I also watched Netflix. The bus ride there felt very long.
When we finally got there, we got dropped of at a museum. At the museum we saw 2 shows and also went to lots of exhibits. One of my favorite exhibits was one that had the representative from each colony. In this exhibit there was also a screen where you could “sign” your name on the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence (I don’t remember) Out of the 2 shows we watched, my favorite was like a play, about the bill of rights. I thought it was very interesting and cool. After we watched both shows and visited all of the exhibits, we had lunch. Continue reading
