Their are three important steps to 3D printing. The first step is to create a design you can do this by starting out with a shape and editing it to you choice. 
The second step is for the computer to slice up your design so that it can tell how to print it. The last step is to print it. 3D printing has had a a huge impact on the world: there are toys, tools and many more objects made from 3D printing.
