Passion project blog post

In school we are working on our passion projects. A passion project is what you are interested in. My passion projects is all about what makes cheerleading challenging. I picked what makes cheerleading challenging because I wanted to have my passion projects about a part of cheerleading that I can write a lot about. This project was really fun because I was able to spend a lot of time working on a project that was about cheerleading because I got to learn more about cheerleading doing this project and cheerleading is one of my favorite things. If I could change anything in my project I would get more information about motions which are the movements you do in cheerleading.

Blog post #3-AmRev

I am so glad that I presented my project and that I am finally finished. I enjoyed doing research for this project writing my narrative and script and making my project. The most challenging part about this project was starting the project because I did not know how to start this big project. This was one of the most fun project that I did in school this year.

This is my final project.

Blog post #1 American Revolution

This year in social studies we are learning about what led to the American Revolution. We are doing research. We had a few different choices of the topic we wanted and I chose the French and Indian war.For my research I used fact cite, world book kids and books.

It was a little bit challenging to find what I was looking for because I kept finding the same information. But as I got to the end of research it was much easier.

I really enjoyed doing research.

Southern Colonies Reflection

This project was hard because it took a long time to learn everything about the thirteen colonies. At first we got packets about the Northern Colonies, Middle Colonies, and Southern Colonies.

Then we chose what we wanted to do our project, I picked the Southern Colonies. Because It was different then the other colonies because all the other Colonies did not have everything the Southern Colonies had and I knew I would be able to find the most information with the Southern Colonies.

Next I had to do research for the Southern Colonies and it was hard because I had to think of what would be important for what I was going to write about. It was also hard because I had to go through a lot of books and use different websites until I had a lot of information.

I first started looking in my packet for the Southern Colonies. Then I looked at the books. After that I had to pick my most important information.  That I researched to highlight it. And then I had to choose how to split up my research like if I wanted to do a section with women, children, geography, food, enslaved people, plantation owners. That is how I decided how to split up my research. Then I picked how I wanted to organize my research.

The options were infographic, google slides, or a poster. I picked a poster. I picked the poster because I felt like it could help me be able to pick how I wanted to do everything because I do it all by myself.

For the poster I had to organize and write everything in pencil.

Next I had to trace everything in sharpie. The funnest part of this project was doing the poster because it was fun to see how much work and research I have gotten through and I got to organize it how I wanted to.

My least favorite part of this project was tracing everything in sharpie because it hurt my wrist. The easiest part of this project was research because for the Southern Colonies there was a lot of information. This project took about two weeks so it was long but it was really fun to learn more about the Southern Colonies because I was really interested in it.

This project was also really good because we got to learn a lot about all the thirteen colonies and life in the colonial time.

This project started out hard because I did not know what I was going to do but in the end I knew what I was doing and got through the project really fast.

I would not have done anything different. But if I had to change something I would probably get a little bit more information about food.

I liked doing this project by myself because I got to pick everything and almost all the other projects that we did we had groups. I also liked this project because I got to do more work with the Southern Colonies. This was a hard but fun project.

Being The Oldest Child Is Hard

If you’re the oldest child sometimes you might think it is hard because your younger siblings always get their way. Also sometimes you might think they get everything they want just by yelling at you or your parents. Being the oldest sibling is hard because my brothers don’t listen to me, and most of all my brothers take stuff away from me.

One reason that being the oldest sibling is hard is because my brothers don’t listen to me.  For example, I set an alarm to wake my brother up. He only gets up right away if it’s a special day for his class.  But if it’s a special day for my class he makes sure to get ready really slowly.  This proves he doesn’t care about what I get, he only cares about what he gets.

Another reason that being the oldest sibling is hard is because my brother takes toys away from me.  For instance, once I found a toy and my brother wanted it. So we played a game to see who gets it. I won but my brother said we had to play two more rounds and he won. This made me very mad because I had it first and he took it from my hands and bragged about  it. This proves they only care about what you have and how they need it at that moment.

As you can see, being the oldest sibling is hard because younger siblings don’t listen and take stuff away from you. Other people should care about this because this is a problem that people should try to fix so the oldest sibling can also get what they want.

Extreme Weather Ignite Reflection

At first I did research for the tsunami. Next I started to type the narrative. Then I had to time myself to see if I could time it for 30 seconds. After that I started memorizing it. Then I practiced with my group.

Working with my group at first was hard because I was used to working by myself, but then I thought it was not hard because I got used to working with a group.

My favorite part of this project was research because in 3rd grade I learned a little bit about tsunami and I wanted to learn more so I was super excited.

The most challenging part of this project was memorizing what I was going to say because I did not know when I was going to memorize it.

There is not a part of the project I would redo.
