My Wizard of Oz epilogue is based on the fact that we have been reading the book the “Wizard of Oz.” This is my version of what the ending could’ve been…
Dorothy is home! Finally! Aunt Em and Uncle Henry have been standing over her bed for about four days now. Dorothy had been dragged all the way from the field and on to her bed, and her aunt and uncle have been waiting there with no patients what soever. As Dorothy starts to slowly wake up she has know idea what she is going to find above her. “Who, Who are YOU!” Dorothy screamed. With her vision all blurry she had no idea what or who was above her in the middle of the night! As Dorothy vision came back to normal, the figure had vanished. Dorothy had know idea at the time that her aunt and uncle were there because in Dorothy’s vision, her aunt and uncle were invisible
As Dorothy tried to fall asleep, she couldn’t stop thinking about the vanishing person. “Who was it? Where did they go?” Done with all of her thinking, she rested her head on the pillow and before she knew it, her eyelids had fell shut, and she was out like a light.
As the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Lion were having a discussion the note and slippers had appeared before them. As the Scarecrow read the note over told the others what has happened and they were off in a blink of an eye. By the time the others had arrived Dorothy had found the wicked witch and spying on her behind a near corner. “You guys are here!” “Thanks!” “I have a plan,” Dorothy whispered quietly. “All we have to do is corner her and take her down!” Dorothy tried to whisper quietly. They all agreed and the plan was in action. The Lion was behind the apples while the Tinman and the Scarecrow were quietly hiding behind the stacks of hay. 3…2…1 Dorothy whispered silently, and they were off. Dorothy and the Lion had jumped on the witch from the back and the Tinman and the Scarecrow had jumped on her from the front. To make the plan successful they planted their secret weapon on the wicked witch. Kisses! And that’s what they did, they kissed and kissed the wicked witch till she had melted down and vanished, all the love seemed to be to much for the witch to handle so she was reduced to nothing. The friends had done it again.
Your twist ending of the Wizard Of Oz story was very amusing and funny. I really enjoyed reading your epilogue and hope to read more of your work.
I love your “Wizard of Oz Epiolgue” post! I definetly did not expect that ending. I think you are a talented writer and you should continue writing. Great work! I’m looking forward to more!
