Capstone Blogpost #4: Interview

The Capstone project is coming to an end quickly, and it is time to interview. I interviewed two members of the ASPCA named Julie and Joey. Read all about what they do and what we did besides the interview at the ASPCA headquarters on my Capstone Site Visit blog post. Julie and Joey were very generous with their time, and let me ask all my questions. I worked very hard to prepare good interview questions, and I think I learned a lot. My idea for the questions is that I want questions that they could answer better than something I could find on the internet. I eliminated lots of questions to make all the questions fall into that category.’

I ended up using 13 questions, and the minimum was 10. My mom and I drove to the ASPCA headquarters in New York City. We tried to leave home before rush hour, when everyone is coming home from work. We met Julie and Joey right when we got there, and saw some cute dogs along the way. I think the interview was a success. Here were my objectives: 1. Learn more from my questions than I could on the internet. 2. Get the interview on tape. 3. Get some great advice on Caring For Creatures off tape. We focused and got through all the questions on video, but definitely had some fun off camera. I learned a lot from these experts, and I can’t wait to share the video with you on my final Capstone project!
