A maglev train is a train that uses magnets to help it operate or move along the tracks. It uses magnets to levitate over the track. Both the train and the track have magnets with the same poles facing each other. My group’s idea for the train was to attach strip and ring magnets to both the train and the track with the same poles facing each other, but our first idea did not work. But scientists test stuff and take multiple tries, right?

One thing that failed was that it stuck to the track and fell straight down and did not move a inch. It did not even levitate. What worked well was that we learned from our mistakes and will use that to help design our next maglev train.

My experience working with my group was O.K, but we had a few disagreements, but we worked it out in the end. Next time we will try to work together better because that is important in a group project.
