Rube Goldberg Reflection

I made a final sketch for my Rube Goldberg. my final sketch was a lot different than my first one. Building it was not that hard but it was kind of annoying to set the whole thing back up again so many times. when I tested it for the first time it got pretty far. There were still a few things i had to change. it took me 28 tries to get a successful run. My simple task was popping a balloon. Making the we video was really hard but not to hard. I did my we video the day before it was due. So i did it all in one day. I had to get all my fails on to drive so i could get them on to we video and i had to get pictures of my sketches. I had to find good music.

My three simple machines in my Rube Goldberg were a screw, an inclined plane and a wheel and axel. I got the idea of a screw from a video of a different Rube Goldberg project someone else did before. I had to change my 3rd step a lot. How my hole thing worked is first a ball un-winds and hits a car a car goes down an inclined plane then the car hits a few cards taped together then those hit dominos after that the dominos hit a ball witch makes a ball go down a ramp and hits a car that makes the balloon pop. I had to change the cards to a box of cards to a tennis ball tube.

My final sketch is a lot different from my first one because a lot of steps were changed like my 3rd one my 5th one and my 6th one. I changed my 3rd step because when cards hit a domino the card got pushed over a lot of dominos so all of the dominos didn’t fall. I changed my 5th step because the ball would not get pushed hard enough to get the other ball to move and i changed my 6th step because the ball would not go through the tube.

Overall it was a lot of work but it was kind of cool. It was also tiring and it took a lot of patience.
