There has been a lot of changes in the last two weeks! My question was that if I give a plant boiling hot water instead of normal water what would change? My hypothesis was it would grow quicker but live shorter because it cannot withstand the heat and the normal water it gets on the weekend will cool it down a bit. Sell 2 (the sell we are using for this project) has grown to be 6 cm, now has 12 leaves, and now it even has 10 buds! It is still green and grows about a cm and 2 leaves a day a day. It is growing perfectly. I still can’t believe the in only this matter of time it has grown from 2 cm to 6 cm!
There has been some changes in this quad, too! Sell 1 was bright green, was 8 cm, had 30 leaves, and had 22 buds when it wilted, became dark green and died. According to my results, my hypothesis is correct!
When the experiment ended, I came to the conclusion that my hypothesis is correct and if you feed a plant hot water instead of normal water it will grow quicker but live shorter.
