CapCon has come! CapCon is when each student presents their Capstone in front of all the student’s parents. I was very excited and nervous. When everything was set up I walked up on the stage and took a deep breath.
“Traumatic Brain Injury. A topic you all have heard of…”
I was so happy and amazed that these parents were listening to me! It made me feel very accomplished. My props were easy to reach, and, once I was at the conclusion, I realized that this was it. I have done it. Completed Capstone. It took everything in me to contain my happiness. I learned so much from Capstone, like how to research, and how to organize it. When I finished, I heard the applause. It was one of the most heartwarming sounds I have ever heard.
