My class and I are doing lots of charity work. We have done two fundraisers so far. The fundraisers we have done are a bake sale and we’ve had kids in the school tie dye shirts. We have raised about $3,000 so far just from both of those fundraisers! With all of the money we raise our goal is to send underprivileged kids from Mount Vernon to summer camp. My teacher has his own charity called 33 birds and it is very cool to see what charity work he has done, he has even been on news 12! We just thought of another one. We are making handmade Valentines cards. Parents can order them online and then they can get a treat to go with it. On Valentine’s Day morning their kids will find a treat and Valentine’s Day card in their locker.
