Feature Article & Reflection

I’ve always wondered how thunderstorms and what is happening inside them, and I thought it was a good topic to write about, where I also get to research about it. Looking back, I think writing the actual article was the most enjoyable, though. I liked writing about thunderstorms in my own words, writing it in my own way.

I think I did a good job at describing the electrons and charges connecting together to form an electric current. When I read it back, I can understand it clearly. That’s probably one of the parts I’m most proud of, actually. I think I described it very well.

I realized that writing a feature article is a lot different than a personal narrative, actually. You have to research a lot of information about the subject you are writing about, while in a personal narrative, you’ve already experienced the things you’re writing about.
