We built maglev trains in class and here’s my reflection:
My group built a maglev to learn how it works. My group was Lior, Emme, Jack, and me. We tried to build it right away. But we realized some parts were not right. So we studied the parts to see how they go. We realized that if we want our maglev to levitate we need they magnets to repel. So we fixed our train and made it levitate but we had a problem: the left levitated high and the right levitated low. So we had a big problem to fix. So then I thought why don’t we move the tracks in? So we tried it and it worked. So then we were ready for passengers. We thought how many passengers can we carry? We tried it many times but we only could get ⅔ passengers. Then we had to improve it. We thought why don’t we just make our train stronger? Emme said “Why don’t we just put less magnets on for less pressure?” “That’s a good idea” said Jack. So we tried it and we got 19/20 passengers. We did it we said.
