Last month, my class worked on a unit about explorers.

My class made posters online for the unit about Christopher Columbus. These posters contain examples of our opinion (is he a hero or villain?), the timeline of his life, and a picture created by us.

In my opinion I think that Columbus is a hero. Columbus made the first settlement in the new world, he proved that there were not only 3 large land masses, he opened up a new world for the Europeans, and had all the courage and bravery, even if his crew tried sabotaging him, to sail west.

To make this poster we used four simple steps. First, Ms. Carroll (our technology teacher) created two poster for us to choose from, one wanted poster, and one in memory of poster. Next, we filled out the timeline. Then, we typed out our examples for our opinion. Finally, we created out picture to go with our opinion, by inserting shapes and other pictures.

I think over all, my poster was great. My favorite part of creating my poster, was making the picture to go along with it. If I had to do this again, I think I would like everything to be like it was now.
