Over the weekend, I played fetch with my dog. Firstly, I used kinetic mechanical energy to pick the tennis ball off of the ground. However, the energy converted into potential gravitational energy when I lifted the ball over my head, but the energy soon converted back into kinetic mechanical energy when I threw the ball.
