Hi! One of our past projects was makining people out of wire and soldering them together, so here are the steps:

First, take a wire and a pencil. Wrap the wire around the pencil until you have a circle and one end of the wire piece sticking up and the  other straight out to the side. Now wrap the shorter wire side around the longer wire side. Do little half-turns with needle nose pliers until you have at least 2 twists around the longer wire. Then cut a shorter piece that will be the arm and bend them into your desired pose. Do the same for the legs, which are the pieces of wire. Solder the arms in between the loops, attach accessories as needed, and voila!
