I thought this Rube Goldberg project was going to be awesome. You get to use machines with amazing chain reactions. I saw people do it and there are some amazing contraptions on youtube. The idea started when a cartoonist made a complex contraption do a simple task in his cartoons. Now we do this because it is interesting.

I chose to work by myself. I had two good reasons. 1. More time 2. Full control=no arguments. Then I had to start my sketch. Actually it really was literary creating the step than putting on the sketch. That is because we don’t have a pulley unless I remove it from a toy or even simply a scale that’s a lever.

Some of my materials are a bunch of picture books ( For dominoes) , another bunch of marbles and balls ( Great kinetic energy ), lastly a balloon.

But of course Rube Goldberg still is a great project that is something different from the usual workbook pgs. you get. So I’m having a lot of fun with the project.
