It was finally spring break and of course I stayed home again just like always. On the spring break me my sister and my babysitter jade all went Ice skating. It was so fun but I fell a few times on my bum!! We were going round and round the whole way. And we were going to go to sky zone but it was way to busy so instead we went to the arcade. At the arcade we played a bunch of fun games like table hockey, wheel of fortune and a weird zombie game.                                                                                                                                                     I went to movies to watch Love, Simon. And I wish I went to Florida to go to Disney and to have fun

Today in science we tested the dams mine actually WORKED!!! The dam affected  by flowing of the water by creating the water to make a little bit of water come out but a little water can come out and so in real life if you were going to build a dam you would let a little water out and the rest stands back. this is how mine looked like.

All the dams were different in some way. So that means they did not produce the same results. And all the dams were built differently.

Also the dam protected the houses in the town. we used popsicle sticks to protect the town from any flooding happening. nothing would get ruined.

The water going on the rocks is not a smooth path so it can steer the water in any direction.

The hills are a much smoother so the water can flow in an even direction compared to the rocks.

I would not put as many rocks but the right amount to keep the water from flooding. I would also put popsicle sticks in a line like the hashtag and take  a straw and cut it into two equal pieces and then place it in between a hill of rocks and sand so only a little bit of water can come through.

Today in science we bulldozed the soil and we had to make it into this high hill and after that we did that but the container we had has a hole at the bottom so when we would pour the water it would spill out into a bucket that someone had to hold on to. When we poured the water into the bucket it was a little satisfying because the water was sinking in the soil. After that we did that it made a clear stream and in the stream there was little tiny rocks from the second or first lesson. It was so cool but when I felt it, it was smooth.
