7th Grade Technology – Wooden Box

Hi again! I wanted to update you on what my technology class has been working on lately.

Since I haven’t posted in awhile, a lot has happened. For one: We began a new project! But before you read any further, you’re going to have to click the ‘read more’ option.

To be honest, I’m not quite sure why I use ‘read more’ anyway. It’s not like it has any purpose. But still! It’s a cool feature. And since I’m not informed about cool features most times, I like to put them to use when I AM informed.

Anyway! Read more!

So! Where was I? Oh yes. My latest technology project!

We’ve been working on this wooden box thing. And as a matter of fact, I finished working on it earlier today. It was actually kind of fun!

Anyway, somewhere along the way; don’t ask me how and don’t ask me why; the measurements for the box were lost. So I had to take things into my own hands.

And I basically randomized the size! I’m not sure if that’s against the rules. But I made a box! And it looks good! So I don’t think it really matters.

It was pretty fun, too. First I measured and cut the wood. Then I stuck the sides together using clamps and wood glue.

Pretty simple, you know.

And that’s about it!

But after hearing me go on and on about how great this box thing looks, you probably want to see it. Right? Yes? No?

Well, I’m gonna put some photos below anyway! Just for the sake of… getting a good grade?

Yeah… that didn’t come out the way I thought it would. Just… enjoy the photos! 🙂
