Capstone is a project most fifth graders do, and it’s basically a huge research project on whatever topic that interests you. I’m feeling really excited about starting capstone.
Coming up with a capstone idea wasn’t too difficult. I had two topics I was interested in, and eventually I chose the latter of the two: gaming. I got into gaming during the quarantine, which is when there was nothing better to do. The art and how amazing the looks of the designs in games really made me wonder how those designs were created. Especially 3D things.
There were a lot of things I wanted to learn about in the subject of gaming, so it was kind of hard to choose which one I wanted to research the most. Eventually I decided that a lot that I would think about often was about how things looked in the games, which therefore, helped me decide on the question of game designs.
For some reason, my brain was kind of mush when I was thinking up questions and I couldn’t really think of any good ones. It took me a while, but I did end up finding some questions that interested me.
Overall, I’m excited to start capstone. I’m glad I had to opportunity to do this!
