Today we went on a very fun Spanish field trip. Are you wondering why our whole fifth grade went on a field trip to a restaurant? Well here’s why, we have been working very hard in Spanish and doing work that relates to food in a Spanish restaurant. We traveled to the restaurant it was very fun to see all the different foods! \

Class was divided by different people in the class. I was at a table with Joning, Rick, and Rick’s mom. Our table was very excited to try all the different foods. We got a sheet that had questions like what was your favorite plate of food? What does your friend like the most? Questions like that. Rick, Joning and I all like the Lomo Saltado the most out of every food and we also tryed the drink Chicha Morada which is purple corn and some cinnamon. I thought it was ok but the cinnamon was a little to overpowering.

When the waiters and waitresses came to give us food and water we had to talk to them in Spanish it was our Spanish assessment. I really enjoyed talking in Spanish and eating different kinds of food. Having a conversation was fun and seeing how people would order in different countries and speaking a different ways was interesting. I really enjoyed this field trip!
