Something You love

By siyo kweta

Have you ever experienced having to let go of something you love, like having to let go of your favorite shirt, or having to let go of your favorite toy, or an animal, that’s what happened to “Ralph” in the story “Tea Rock Ln.” I think that when you love something someday you will let it go.

The Fletchers roosters had to go to mr. Black’s house because mr. black can take care of them properly since, they were not ready “but the truth is, we’re not equipped  to take care of them properly.” Then the mom says, “I still get complaints from the neighbors those birds do make an awful lot of Racket at 5 in the morning!” So when Jimmy and Laney had to let go Stefan and peepers. they were really thinking about it because they knew that they really love them and didn’t want to let go but also knew that it was the right decision because mr. black had the right setting for the roosters but Laney was in tears when the roosters  we’re leaving and couldn’t even come outside to say goodbye.

Another reason is  when Jimmy and Ralph went to go save the roosters because they heard from Freddy black that  the roosters might die if there is another fight so when Jimmy and Ralph went to go save the roosters they were the protagonist in that scene And really one day heard heads are going to roll his dad’s going to have to kill them that really motivated them to go get the roosters  it’s also because they love their roosters and of course that I’ve heard from a famous writer that fits in with the story is, “ if you love something set it free, if it comes back it’s yours, if it doesn’t it never was” This shows why they went out  risking their lives to save their roosters.
In the short story  “Tea Rock Lane” by Ralph Fletcher has you not only predict that something would go wrong but makes you think more about what will happen next or make you think about your life and the comparison which makes me think that no matter how hard you try and hold onto something you love, someday you are going to have to let go.

Nice job with your intro. I really liked how you were able to make it so other people could relate to what you’re saying. The only thing I noticed was in the intro when you said the title you forgot to complete the word lane.
