Dear Room 51,
Hello! We are from Kansas and we started our journey to Oz in room 26 and then had a wonderful time in room 24. It was fantastic! First we got to go to gym class. I think we all learned a lesson about not giving up. All of the students had to run around the gym and not give-up until time was up. Mrs. Aberman’s class taught us how to use an iphone and we also learned how to make a cupcake sandwich. My friends and I all picked out an inspirational saying. We felt much better just reading them!
Our friends gave us wonderful gifts too, including a few inspirational notes, an iphone, a mapping book, a book on Courage, and finally, Brain Quest. We are so happy to receive these wonderful gifts! Toto even got some yummy dog treats! Unfortunately, Toto had to “do his business” and since Toto is not use to buildings like Edgewood, we had to potty train him with a wee wee pad. Toto must have been confused and scared, so he jumped right out of my arms and ran up the stairs! I ran as fast as I could, but I just could not catch up.
My dear friends ran after me, but fell behind. When I finally found Toto, I was exhausted, and I gave Toto some water and the wee wee pad. Amazingly, Toto used it with ease and struck me with surprise. After Toto was done with the wee wee pad, we sadly could not find my dear friends. Since it was getting dark out, we decided to stay in your warm, cozy looking classroom. Thank you!
