I am now a published author! I have written a topic I am an expert on, basketball.  I wrote about basketball because whenever I see players play and do their tricks I feel like if I keep practicing I can do similar tricks.  I am inspired by these professional basketball players because how hard they work and how fast they are compared to the normal human.  Some basketball players like Lebron James can travel the basketball court in nine steps.  I have learned a lot about basketball over the last four years when I moved to Scarsdale.  My brothers started playing basketball so I thought I should start playing too. In my class I learned a lot about writing an expert book. I learned how to make chapters, a slideshow, compare and contrast text structure in my writing.  I enjoyed making an introduction and really expressing how I feel about basketball.
