In the story “The lion, The witch and the wardrobe” there is a character called “the white witch” she is located in the wardrobe land of Narnia. According to the Faun and Lucy, she is rude and cruel and a backstabbing person that betrays, Lucy had been to narnia before and met a faun who worked for the white witch he was suppost to kidnap her but instead cried and said sorry, of course lucy told her siblings and they didn’t believe her. Until one day edmund found this wardrobe went inside and found himself in narnia, the white witch appeared and bribed him to bring his siblings to her for turkish delight and to be king. So far from all I know this information is true, but how can I prove this?
One way to prove this is when she talked to Edmund. From what I know she bribed him with turkish delight that was magical and he ate it and then he started talking a lot and he told the white witch about his family and she asked to see them and if he brought them to her she would make him king of narnia of course he followed and then peter and susan found this land and they all are mad at edmund so lucy is going to lead the way, but how will edmund get them to the white witch if lucy is leading? I think this supports my claim because it says how evil and mysterious she is and it gives your a hint that she might be betraying him just so she could see the family and make them her peasants or she just just wants to take advantage.
Another way to prove this is when she took the faun. From what I heard she went into the fauns house and arrested him because he was nice to “a daughter of eve” (lucy) and she destroyed this house all thanks to edmund who told the white witch. I think this proves my claim because it shows how rude and evil she is.
As a conclusion I think that we can all learn from this book that the white witch is evil and all we can expect from the book is that something bad will happen and it will come back a theme in the end.
