This blog post is about properties. I’m choosing to look closely in ultra thin glass. I learned that glass is first contained in a mixture. Then it gets lifted, and then a worker takes the funnel to a crane. The crane lowers the funnel into a round object. A traitor opens at the funnels base. It’s then brought into heat. Then it flows out to get the correct de mentions.

In technology we just started working on our projects. At first I was unsure with the amount and size wood I needed. Then I realized everything that I needed to know. I’m very excited to continue working on my project because I have a lot of fun cutting the wood. I’m nervous to double the wood because I’m not sure I’ll do it right. I’m really happy with my choice because I can actually put jewelry in it when it is all complied.

For the past week in technology we have been working on creating a 3D replica of what we want our project to be. Here is an image of my 3D jewelry box.

The past week in Technology we have been working on cutting pieces of wood. We used to different tools. One was in the shape of a pencil, and the other was similar to a non sharp saw. At first cutting the wood with the materials given was challenging, but as I kept working with the materials given to me it was making more sense to me, and it was becoming easier. Technology is a lot of fun and very interesting and I really enjoy the class.

Today we watched three videos. The first video was about people who cut trees for a living but it’s very dangerous. The second video was about the same trees but in newer technology, and the third video was about cutting tree bark. The first video actually had a man speaking meanwhile the last two didn’t have any voice, only music. They are all retaliated because they all share a common topic.

Today is the last day of the quarter. It was also a tech zoom day. Today on zoom it was super fun, we played a Kahoot! It was nice to have a good time on the last day. I’m going to really miss tech but I can’t wait for next year so that I can do more advanced things in tech. I really appreciate Mr. Calvert effort to make online school as fun as possible.

Today I looked at everyone’s cubes on a class link. I loved what all my classmates made. It’s really nice to still be doing hands on activities even though we aren’t actually in class. I’m so sad that tomorrow is the last day of the quarter. I’m so sad that tech haven’t really been tech but I really appreciate all that Mr. Calvert has done to make E-learning the best it can be.

Today for tech I made a cube. I made this out of mini marshmallows and toothpicks. It was really cool, and a great little fun activity that takes up some time in the long day. It took me two or three tries to get it to stay up straight but in the end I got it to stay up right. It was really interesting and challenging to do the project.

Last week was wellness week so we did not have any technology work. It was really nice to ficus on myself for a little bit of time. I also missed my tech work because the work is a lot of fun. I enjoyed doing the activities because for must of them I got to do them with my brother. It was nice doing activities with my brother because usually we are really busy and don’t get to spend a lot of time together.
