When I made my paper airplanes I was experimenting with how the different types of paper would affect the forces. My paper airplane design was high, wings. With the construction paper there was more gravity because the paper is heavier. This is affecting the lift as well, causing it to not be airborne for as long. The construction paper airplane also had a lot of drag causing it to not fly as well. The thrust was also not as good, not because of the type of airplane but because of the construction paper. The paper airplane has a better lift, because of the weight of the paper. The paper airplane also airborne for longer because it was lighter so there seemed to be less gravity acting on it. The thrust was also better because the paper was easier to fold shaper at the front. Based on everything that happened with these airplanes I think that a lighter weighted wood would make a better airplane to fly.
