Today we were assigned to read the chapter Amir in the book seedfolks for homework. I chose to listen to it on tales2go. I think that Amir has a strong Indian accent. His voice seems very young, and he moved to India in 1980. He must have moved to America when he was in his teens. In my opinion, that is very weird. He has a very strong accent, and he moved to America at a very young age. My parents moved to America when they were older than him, and they do not have a strong Indian accent. I think Amir was very brave to go chasing the criminal who took that woman’s purse. I think he is very caring. Not only for people, but also for all living things. One example is that he cared for the plants by taking away the tires from the the garden. Another example is that he helped get a woman’s purse back. I also think he is very friendly. He does have a lot of friends in the garden.
