The Great Kindness Challenge

During the week of January 28, our school did something called “The Great Kindness Challenge.” The Great Kindness Challenge is when all the students and teachers in the school go out of their way to be kind! I think this is a good idea, because, to be honest, there are not enough nice people in this world. The Great Kindness Challenge keeps our world kind and happy!

Now back to what it is. The Great Kindness Challenge is composed of challenges that are all kind deeds.  Some of them are easy to complete, and some others, you really put your heart into.  On the first day, people were fooling around and saying stuff like, “I like you shirt. It would be even better with trash all over it,” and stuff like that.  Now, there are people who bend down and pick up your pencil if it falls, smiling at you while they hand it over. I feel like I was kind during this challenge. My question is, shouldn’t we be kind 24/7?  This challenge may make that happen. Who knows, the school itself might be smiling because of all the kind deeds committed inside of it! Thank you for your time, and keep on being kind!
