Our class is starting a new writing unit where we will be writing feature articles. In this unit, I was thinking about five topics. Volleyball, softball, dogs, and NYC At first, I was pretty settled on softball but then I realized that I didn’t want to do that as much as I thought. Then I thought about volleyball but then I realized that I don’t know enough about the topic. Then I thought about dogs because I have one and I know so much about them. But so many people are doing dogs and I wanted to do my own so the only thing left was NYC. The reason I chose this over everything else is that I lived there for seven years of my life. I know so much about his city.  I know the 5 burrows, great schools, good restaurants, good stores, and fun events/things to do.

I am going to include maps, diagrams, drawings, and categories in my feature article.
