How to play soccer

The goal of soccer is to score a goal with your feet not your hands. For example if your right in front of the goal shoot the ball to score. Here is a tip, if your right in front of your goal don’t shoot because that will be an own goal, but if you have space to dribble the ball right in front in front of your own goal dribble away so they can not steal the ball shoot and score. Here is another tip, if you’re pressured right in front of your goal and someone is open on your team pass it to them so the other team does not score. If you want to have a good strike on the ball hit the ball with the inside of your foot to have more power. If you want to get good practice your dribbling, shooting, juggling, and last but not least skills.

 

My soccer team

For soccer I had to make a tough decision. The decision was to stay on Scarsdale or go to a new team called NYPFC (New York Premier Football Club). I could stay with all my Scarsdale buddies or go NYPFC with friends from other schools. So I thought about it but I knew that NYPFC was better but I still had a tough decision. After a long time of deciding I chose  NYPFC. After a little bit of playing on the team I really liked like it😁. After are first 5 games we had 5 wins😄 0 losses 0 ties. Two of 5 games were state cup games that we won. Since we already beat the best team in are league in the columbus day tournament 4-2 I think we can go undefeated the whole season.

Soccer Game

Com’on daddy,  “We’re going to be late to my soccer game”, I said. We were playing against New York City.

At the start of the second half we were down one to zero. I thought we were going to lose.I felt gloomy.

 My coach told me I had to play goalie.  I was very stressed because I don’t like playing goalie.

At least we got to start with the ball in the in the second half “YAY”, I said. That made me feel a little better.

Two minutes into the second half C got fouled. The free kick was hard to make. Well I thought so.

He shot it so hard and high the goalkeeper had no chance of saving it…I screamed to C,

“Nice shot, I don’t think I can do that.”

It was suddenly one to one.There was one guy on the other team close to the goal. I said in my head I can block this I can block this. When the guy shot it I used all my might to jump up and block it… and somehow I did. I could not believe it. I had such a good feeling that I could block anything!Later N was driving down the left side trying to juke everybody out. Do you think he scored…? YES! He made it because he kicked the ball very hard.

Before time ran out I thought we would win. And guess what… we did. It was our best game.I just knew it. Next we shook hands. I couldn’t believe we beat that team!
