I had a really fun time with making my Rube Goldberg. I found it very fun creating my contraption. My overall experience with creating the project was that it was super fun. I also really enjoyed making my video. I also learned a lot from this project. I learned that you can not get frustrated when you’re contraption doesn’t work the way you planed. You have to be patient. I found making the video really fun because all l had to do was take all of my videos that l taped and import them into my video, and l got to make funny animations with them. Overall, l really had a fun time with my Rube Goldberg project.

Capstone Main Question and Sub Questions

My topic for Capstone is predicting the weather. My main question is “What are the key factors in predicting the weather and how has predicting the weather evolved?” My sub questions are “What are the key factors in predicting the weather?” “How do the key factors in predicting the weather help predictors?” “How has predicting the weather evolved?” “How has technology helped predicting the weather get better?” I chose my topic because l have always had an interest in predicting the weather. I always wondered how do weather man predict the weather accurately? l can’t wait to do further research on my topic!

 

Rube Goldberg Process

I enjoyed doing my Rube Goldberg Process. I had a process for my contraption and a process for my sketch. The process for my sketch was easy. I had an original sketch which was going to be what l did for my project but it didn’t work out that way. When l was building my machine l realized l had to change it up a bit, so l did. After l was done setting up the machine l made a new sketch which was my final one. Some of the challenges of making my machine were that when l kept setting up the dominoes they and they kept on falling down and it made to keep setting them all up again. Some resources that l used for making my machine were, Josephs Machines, OK GO, and Audri’s Rube Goldberg Machine. Some things that l needed to change when l was creating my machine was the position where l needed to put my final step. All together l had a great time making my sketch and executing my contraption.
