For my passion project l am going to try and ask my mom for some tips but I don’t think that will be enough so l am going to go on YouTube and try to brainstorm ideas on what my final product will look like. Some resources l will use is the internet. I am going to explore the internet and look for websites that could guide me. I will get my project done by finding a space in my room where nobody is bothering me and work on perfecting my art.
Week 1: Passion
My passion is Digital Art. I chose Digital Art because l have never been good at art and l want to try it digitally because l have never really seen digital art and l think it would be cool to create and learn more about it.
I had a really fun time with making my Rube Goldberg. I found it very fun creating my contraption. My overall experience with creating the project was that it was super fun. I also really enjoyed making my video. I also learned a lot from this project. I learned that you can not get frustrated when you’re contraption doesn’t work the way you planed. You have to be patient. I found making the video really fun because all l had to do was take all of my videos that l taped and import them into my video, and l got to make funny animations with them. Overall, l really had a fun time with my Rube Goldberg project.

I enjoyed doing my Rube Goldberg Process. I had a process for my contraption and a process for my sketch. The process for my sketch was easy. I had an original sketch which was going to be what l did for my project but it didn’t work out that way. When l was building my machine l realized l had to change it up a bit, so l did. After l was done setting up the machine l made a new sketch which was my final one. Some of the challenges of making my machine were that when l kept setting up the dominoes they and they kept on falling down and it made to keep setting them all up again. Some resources that l used for making my machine were, Josephs Machines, OK GO, and Audri’s Rube Goldberg Machine. Some things that l needed to change when l was creating my machine was the position where l needed to put my final step. All together l had a great time making my sketch and executing my contraption.

This is my expert book. It is all about football. l chose this topic because l love football and l know lots about it. There are so many cool interesting facts and so much more. My book took about 3 months and lots of editing and revising and elaborating so l hope you enjoy my wonderful expert book all about football enjoy.

We realized that our train was not exactly lined up with the magnets. So we had to cut it and make it more exact. When we were done we put it on and it levitated but it was not that high. Then we put more stripe magnets on the bottom of the train. We put 3 then we wanted to make it even higher so we put 4 and now it was so much higher than 2 stripe magnets.
Our final track looked like 2 stripe magnets on the train and we had 4 magnets on each side so we had 6 stripe magnets on altogether. It was successful because our teacher approved it and we took a picture and we were so happy we finally got it because it took 3 days and he got it.
I realized that EDP takes lots of practice and lots of hard work and working with a group also is hard because you have to work with other people and share your ideas with other people and EDP and working with a group takes hard work and sharing your ideas.
Today at school my group tried many different things. We to magnets to levitate but it did not work. Tomorrow we are going to get it because we are so so close and I know that we are going to do it.
Today we tried many different ways but none of them worked. It was kind of frustrating but we all worked so hard. We are having so so much teamwork we are listening to each other and l know we are going to do it.
Are goals for tomorrow are to keeped making sure that they are like poles and to not make then attract and to make then repel. So now we are all ready for tomorrow .
A maglev train is a train that comes from Japan. It levitats in the air because the magnets under it are rappelling and so it floats. If garbage or something is in the tracks the maglev train will still work.
Today I tried to make it float but we did not do it. We tried many different ways but we still did not. We tried to put south poles to south poles but the tape was not strong enough.
My group did an amazing job. They keep trying but sadly we did not do it but hopefully we will do it tomorrow.
