This week we started our rough drafts for our boxes. The first thing we did was draw out a sketch of our box. I liked the size of the boxes that were on each table so I decided to make a box the same size. I traced the sides of the box onto the the paper and measured it out. When I finished drawing the sketch of my box I started to trace each side onto cardboard. Then I cut each side out with the scroll saw. My lines weren’t perfectly straight but I tried my best and thats all I needed. After everything was cut I started to assemble he cardboard box. Some sides were bigger or taller than others so the box isn’t perfect but it is still shows what I want my final box to be. I taped the box together and the box is the perfect size. I had alot of fun making the cardboard box and I cant wait to make it out of wood!
