I am so happy that the boys get to go to school! O wait the girls can go to, I am so happy that they will learn English. I don’t think those boys were nice they tricked someone who wouldn’t know any better because he doesn’t know English. I think Pa is a really kind man and there aunts and Uncles seem nice to. I think the girls are not going to want to go to school because they have to get a job. I think Rifka will want to go to school.
I wonder if the kids that Fivel were playing hide and seek with will be at the school. I also predict that Fivel and Benyimon wiilll not fit in with everyone else at first but they eventually will all become best friends. I also think there is gonna be a connection with the teacher and Fivel and the Principal and Fivel. I can relate this story to Home of the brave because they are both not from America, they live in Minnesota and they both go to a school where they try to fit in with the other students.

I’m really glad that everything is going alright with pa. That they are all getting along. I think that it was really mean of those boys to prank Fivel. And I think that Benyomin was smart to not come with Fivel. I really liked that Fivel started to understand how Yusig was feeling, that he just wanted to fit in. I think it’s really great that Fivel’s gonna get to go to school. I think so far the book is really great and I can’t wait for more.
I think Pa is a real nice man. I hope the story stays like this but I think that something bad is going to happen. I hope that Beryl will come to America so they can all be together. I think that there are going to be some hardships to come. They are also going to have to tell Pa about the bad things that happened in their shetl.
Oof Fivel does not know anything I feel kinda band, but not so much. Maybe he will actully learn something in school. That would be nice. I wonder if he will get a job. I think he will.
I am happy that the boys get to go to school with out spending money for it. I don’t think that the other kids are very nice but when Fivel learns how to speak English than the kids can’t make him do those things any more. I think it is cool that Fivel wants a job like selling news papers on the corner of the street to earn money for the family.
I’m happy that Fivel will go to school! But it was very mean of those kids to trick Fivel just because he didn’t know English.
Now Fivel knows what it feels like to be Yusig, trying to fit in. Those boys were like Fivel and Benyomin and Fivel right now is like Yusig.
I’m so happy that they can go to school! I think that pa is really nice. I think Fivel and his brother are realizing that when they tricked Yusig it felt like when they have been tricked.
I am glad that the boys and girls? can go to a public school, but I predict that the first few days at school isn’t going to be good, but it will turn better gradually. Like when Auggie first enters school, he is hated, but gradually, he became really popular, and I think Fivel will at least follow that and become a normal kid. I also think that Fivel should have known that it was mean to yusig by tricking him, they should have played with him truthfully.
I feel bad for Fivel because he got bullied. I also feel bad for Yusig because he never got a chance to fit in with the other boys. I think that Fivel will have a bad time at school because he will get bullied. I have a feeling that even if Fivel works, the work he is going to do offers very little money and it will be tough work. Good luck to Fivel’s new life in America!
I think pa shouldn’t have invited all the relatives and had a dinner just the seven of them.
That was very mean of those boys. Im also very excited that Fivel will get to learn English if he learned English those boys would not be mean to him because they can’t trick. I also think that the boys learned English at the school hes going to and they will be there.
I am so happy that Fivel and his siblings will get to go to school!!!!! I think it was so so mean of the kids to prank Fivel like that :c. I hope Fivel will get many friends at school.
I’m so excited that they finally got to start living with Pa. I think it was really funny that Ma was worried about if they were going to have enough money to afford school because it is free. I also think that Fivel deserved to get tricked by those boys because he always tricked Yusig and never gave Yusig a chance to fit in and now that he’s getting tricked by these boys in America he realized that Yusig felt the same way he is feeling now. I think that Fivel is going to have a really bad time at school and the boys that tricked him are going to be going to the same school. I wonder if Fivel will struggle to learn English or thrive and pick it up really quickly. I also wonder what part Rifka is going to play in the story because I know that the author wouldn’t have put her into the story for no reason.
YAAAAYYYYY!!!! I’m so happy for Fivel and his siblings, now they can go to school! And yeah, it was really mean for those kids to prank Fivel! ):V. I got happy went they had Sabbath dinner, so I guess that means he get too see his family weekly. Also, I wonder what job the sister’s and Ma’s jobs will be. I’m really happy for the family 😀
America is really different from her home country. It was like a dream come true for her family . They have free education most importantly they have freedom to believe in their religion. I wonder if they will get bullied again. Good thing benymin stayed at home or else’s he might have gotten bullied too. I wonder what will happen next.
It’s really great that Fivel and Benyomin and everyone in the house (excluding the Pa) will be able to learn English! Also, if everyone gets a job, they could maybe try saving up money for something, like a vacation or something like that. I also predict that Fivel and Benyamin will get bullied at school, because of their differences. I still think that there probably will be some Jewish kids there, but not from the boat.
I still think that there will be hardships along the way. The ship is sailing to smooth, the water is to calm, the sky is so clear they need to hit a wave or face a storm. I think Fivel was taken advantage of because he doesn’t know English. What those boys did was rotten, but I think he should take this as a lesson because this is how he treated Yusig he was basically in Yusig’s shoes. I think Fivel has an excellent opportunity to learn English and he needs to go with the flow to succeed. I think it is going to take Fivel a bit to learn the American way, but if he is persistent, observant, and flexible he can get there sooner.
i am so happy that his pa is nice although i think something is going to happen to him and we are going to learn something different about him. i think that that was a very strong chapter because they learn that they will be going to school to learn english. i also think that that chapter tried to give us a picture of there future life.
