We just kinda showed up to our site visit. The receptionist greeted us  and told us some of the birds she heard lately. Then we got a membership and went off to the trail she showed us. I did not realize how hard it was trying to record a song because the songs stop too early to record them.  I didn’t even know what some of the songs were and I thought that I needed songs that I could Id. It turned out to be the opposite because, well I was teaching people how to identify bird songs. I didn’t know how I was going to show this so me having to do it myself helped me see how I was going to show it.  The bird ended up being a Red Eyed Vireo. We didn’t have much time and thus didn’t get much which was sad.
