Pigeons Scare Me

Once I went wake-boarding in the Hamptons I stood up for about 5 seconds and then crashed back in.  In first grade I thought bangs were really cool, so I cut some.  On a plane I was showing my brother how big I can blow a bubble with my gum.  The next thing I knew the gum was in my hair.  I love watching people paint.  I can’t stand it when people crack their knuckles, but I don’t mind it when I do it.  I love pancakes with a little syrup, but hate them with too much. Chocolate is my favorite.  I almost stayed up all night at camp with my friends.  The next day we slept through the first three activities.  When my family went on a ski trip with all our friends, at the top of the chair lift my friends and I all fell off and they had to stop the whole chairlift for us. I hate cats. I once eavesdropped on my mom and found out we were going to Disney World.  I had a fish for two days, then it went down the toilet.  Once I thought wassabi was avocado so I ate the whole thing.  On our family trip to San Francisco we biked six miles in total on the Golden Gate Bridge. After, I think all our butt’s were sore.  My favorite number is seven or nineteen.  When it was my friend’s birthday we went to Escape the Room.  We destroyed that room in less than three minutes.  I’ve never gotten strep throat.  At camp I was painting my nails on my counselors bed.  The nail polish spilled–whoops.  When we went banana boating at camp my friend fell off with me, and when she got back on she realized her bathing suit ripped.  My dog has peed on my parents bed many times.  Once I tried to do a flip and landed flat on my face.  Pigeons scare me.

  1. Hi Izzy,
I really liked this post. When I read it I noticed that you went back and forth from short lines to long lines. This created a nice rythm to your text. I liked how you included things mostly about you and only some about your family and friends.
