Our improvements  that we made today were fixed the vehicle because at some parts it would attract to the track. So what we did to fix it we made it touch the edge of the vehicle because before our vehicle the edge at all.

Our train and track is bacily our first idea but we changed a few things:

 

  1. The vehicle – what we changed about our vehicle was it was too heavy. so we got strip magnets because we had too many ring magnets.
  2. The track – the strip magnets were too close to the middle so we un taped it, then we put the magnets closer to the edge of the track.

My group thinks our train was successful because it took the passengers from one side of the train to the other and our vehicle levated.

 

I learned from EDP that you have to do all the EDP steps to complete the process. I also learned working with my group even if you get frustrated it is okay.

Today my maglev train floated a little bit . We used strip magnets and ring magnets so the vehicle could float.

Our maglev train failed because it was too heavy we learned that we should use lighter magnets we changed the weight of the vehicle by using disk magnets .

Our goal is to make a light and stable maglev train.

A maglev train is a train that is super fast. And the track is made out of magnets. Our group came up with a way to make a maglev train so we put magnets facing north so they will repel.

Our group did not have a chance to test so we do not know if it works or not.

My group was very kind and helpful and we all worked together and we imagined and planned for a transportation system.
