My thoughts on the electoral college are that we should change electoral votes to popular vote. I feel that popular votes should decide who is president because more people will be happy, depending on the president, because if the president wins popular vote and loses electoral vote a majority of people won’t like the president. I don’t like that each state gets a number of electoral votes because it would make me feel  like I don’t have as much of a voice because it does not depend on me it depends on the population. These are my thoughts on the electoral college and why I think popular vote should decide who is president so more people are happy and have a voice.

I hope Joe Biden wins the election. I hope Joe Biden wins because I believe in a lot of the things he believes in. For example climate change. He believes that climate change is a problem that has to stop. Biden’s plan  is to make a deal called the Green New Deal. That plan will help stop carbon emissions by cutting them to zero by 2050. To help that plan succeed he will invest $2 trillion. Another example of something I also support is Racial Justice. His plan is for when he may become president is to expand access to high quality education, business opportunity’s, healthcare, and housing for people of different races. I am passionate about these topics and that is why I hope Joe Biden winds the election.
