For our final capstone project we have to do a presentation. You could either do a ted talk, ignite, movie or a website. I chose a ted talk because I could change the slides when I want. To make my script I started to evolve my essay. At first my script was very very long it was 9 minutes! But the maximum time for a ted talk was 6 minutes, so I had a problem. I started to chip away at my script to make it shorter. I took away many things from my script and brought my time down to 7 minutes. Next I had to practice. The first time I presented I had to use my script. But after practicing a lot, I made myself some flash cards with references on them. After practicing even more I finally memorized my script. Since I was making a ted talk I also had to make a slideshow. I added a lot of pictures that matched what I was talking about. I also added some transition slides. With my slides done and my script memorized I am ready to do my final presentation. The day I am writing this I have to do my final presentation. Wish my luck!
