Creating Pendants Cont. – Tech Post #5

Hi!

So if you read my last few blog posts, you would know that my entire sixth grade technology class is making pendants!

So far, I’ve finished my basic design with the jump ring, so I need to design the inside of the pendant.

NOW! You’ve reached the “Read More” mark! If you’re getting bored, no problem; I won’t force you to read on. But if you want to continue, then just click on that “Read More.”

Anyways, I mostly used my fingers to shape the two parts of the heart, but I occasionally used the round nose pliers to bend the wire.

Once I finished shaping the two sides of the heart, Mr. Calvert gave me an unusually thick square of double-sided tape which I stuck on my design paper. Next, I placed the outer ring of my pendant on the tape and arranged the heart inside of it.

I put my name on the soldering waiting list, so now I just have to wait for my turn to solder. And I have to say; I’m really excited to see how my pendant looks!

See you on the next post! 🙂
