When you think of a passion what do you think of? For me I love video games, dogs and sports. But since I already did video games for my capstone I thought of doing something else. Not dogs because someone probably has that already and since my other passion is sports i decided to do it on sports. Wait but sports would be to broad of an idea so I decided to narrow it down to just football. Now I need to think of a question I wanted to learn about. So I was thinking of football and remembered all of the trades happening in the NFL and thought these are really bad and really good trades. So I thought “why would they do this trade.” Since the people that are doing the trades are the owners I decided to do my passion project on a owner and what they need to do to be successful. And this was a great idea thinking back to the broncos my favorite team because our owner John Elway doesn’t always make the greatest decisions, unless there was a reason that I didn’t know. Maybe after I learn more about being an owner of an NFL team I will realize why he made those decisions. Now that you learned about how I chose my passion project what would you do for your passion project?

For my passion project I want to do Football. More specifically on owning a team and what you need to do to be a good owner of a team. I want to do this because I love football and I want to learn what owners need to do to make their team successful. I also always get notifications about trades and deals that are happening in the NFL and in my head I think “why would they do that trade?”
By learning on this topic I can learn more and visualize trades from an owners standpoint. So whenever i get notification about trades happening I will know why they happened.

I unfortunately don’t know anyone to interview and finding someone to interview will be very hard so I won’t do an interview. What I know right now about being an owner is you need to hire the right people that you think will thrive in their job. Mostly why I want to do this is because I am a Broncos fan and our owner is John Elway and he made some very good trades and deals and some very bad trades and deals. I wonder if I knew more about being a manager that there is a certain reason he did these trades. One thing John Elway did that was very bad was he drafted a tight end Jake Butt who did nothing besides get injured the pick before another tight end George Kittle who has made 2pro bowls already. Quick summary of Jake Butt he had 85 yards and 0 touchdowns in his career. For my final product I will like to make a comic with people thinking and answering questions and explaining the evidence more in a conversation. These are my reasons I want to learn about being a successful NFL owner.
